11 team members each with particular skills traveled to Pine Lake Academy, Kodera, Kenya this summer. They were able to see first hand the great progress including new classrooms for grades 1 – 8.

Pine Lake Academy is comprised of 350 students proudly having graduated 5 classes (127 students) from eighth grade. They routinely score 1st among district schools in various subjects including math, science, scouting, and girls volleyball. All pass the Kenya National exam with many receiving invites to National schools! This serves as a great accomplishment for this rural community who before seldom sent 8th graders off to high school!
